Step 1 - Upload & Host your video

In order to add video to your Shopify theme - you'll first need to ensure that your video is hosted & accessible, the easiest way to do this is with an unlisted youtube video, to do this, follow these steps:

1. Create a YouTube account if you do not already have one.
2. Select the "Create" button in the upper right corner (it looks like a tiny video camera).
3. Select your video file to upload.
4. On the next screen, add the title and description. Under Privacy, choose "Unlisted."
5. When done, select "UPLOAD" in the upper right corner.
6. Once uploaded, open your video and choose "Share", then "Embed"
7. Copy just the video ID from the URL in the embed code (Example: From https://www.youtube.com/embed/abc123, the ID is abc123)

Step 2 - Add custom liquid block to website

1. On Shopify - Navigate to 'Online Store --> Themes'
2. Locate the shopify store theme you wish to add the video block to, and select 'customise'
3. Select 'Add Section' in the Shopify theme editor, for the area you wish to place the video banner - and then select 'custom liquid'
4. Add the following code & Replace "PASTE-VIDEO-ID-HERE" with your video ID
