The Kith Loyalty Program is Kith's free, app-only points program, and its points are a status ledger rather than a currency. Members earn 2 points per $1 spent on Kith products and 1 point per $1 on other brands and Kith Treats, online, in the Kith App or in a Kith store, plus bonus points for Moments (check-ins at stores and events) and Achievements. Lifetime points place you in one of three tiers, Paragon (0 to 1,999), Quartz (2,000 to 9,999) and Voyage (10,000+), which unlock early access, tier-exclusive products and, at Voyage, perks such as skipping the line. Points can't be redeemed for money off and they don't expire.

Last checked against Kith's Loyalty Program page, its Kith App page, its loyalty help article (last updated 12 May 2026) and the Loyalty Program Terms (last updated 25 January 2024), all as of 24 October 2026.

This guide is written by Graeme, co-founder of Mage, a loyalty and customer accounts platform for Shopify.

How to join the Kith Loyalty Program

Joining happens in the Kith App, on iOS or Android. Creating an account, or signing in with an existing Kith account, enrolls you automatically. There is no way to enroll on kith.com alone, although purchases on kith.com and on Kith's regional sites (Canada, Europe, Japan and the UK) count when you check out signed in with the same email. Checking out as a guest earns nothing.

Purchase history counts retroactively. If you already shop with Kith under an email address, your past orders and points appear once you create an app account with that email. Orders placed before the program launched on 26 January 2024 count toward your points total and history, but not toward Achievements.

Each person can have one account. Members with two email addresses can link one secondary account to the primary once, from the Link Accounts setting in the app. Only the points balance moves, the purchase history doesn't merge, the secondary account stops earning, and the request is reviewed and can't be undone.

How you earn Kith points

Way to earnPoints
Kith products (apparel, collaborations, accessories, footwear)2 per $1
Non-Kith products and Kith Treats1 per $1
Moments (check in at a store, pop-up or event)Varies; the Kith Manhattan check-in example is +100
Achievements (non-purchase actions)Varies; examples include +25 and +100

A few details worth knowing:

  • What counts: purchases online, in the Kith App, at Kith shops and at Kith Treats locations, paid by any regular payment method or a Kith e-gift card. Sale items earn on the price paid. Taxes, shipping and discounts don't earn.
  • Moments: you check in from the Loyalty section of the app once you're within 100 yards of the location, and location services have to be on. Each Moment's value is revealed when it unlocks. Moments such as visiting a Kith store can be unlocked once a year.
  • Achievements: examples include Welcome Reward, Completing Your Shopping Preferences, Subscribing to the Kith Newsletter and Enabling Push Notifications at +25 each, and Open the Kith App 7 days in a row and Place 3 Footwear Orders at +100 each. Achievements refresh each calendar year, and some are hidden until you unlock them.
  • In store: give the email linked to your loyalty account, or show the QR code on your in-app membership card. A phone number alone doesn't earn, and Kith can't add points to a store purchase afterwards.
  • Other currencies: purchases on regional sites are converted to US dollars at the daily exchange rate, and one email address collects points across all regional sites.
  • Timing: purchase points are held until the return window closes, 30 days for online orders and 14 days for in-store orders. Moments and non-purchase Achievements post immediately.
  • Returns: a refund deducts the points from the purchase, excluding tax and shipping.

Kith Seoul and Kith at Madison Square Garden don't take part in the program.

What Kith points are worth

Kith points have no cash value. Points aren't redeemable and don't convert into dollars for spending, and the terms say rewards have no cash value and can't be transferred. What points buy is progress: tier status and the access and products attached to it.

That makes the useful number the spend needed to reach each tier. At 2 points per $1, Quartz at 2,000 points takes $1,000 of Kith purchases and Voyage at 10,000 points takes $5,000 (our arithmetic, before any Moments or Achievements). On other brands at 1 point per $1 it takes twice as much. Returns deduct points, so the figures assume you keep what you buy.

Paragon and Quartz get the same listed benefits, so the difference between them is the tier-specific products and icons, while Voyage adds four extra benefits. Tier names come from colors in the Kith palette. Until at least 1 November 2025 the tiers were called Molecule, Elevation and Vitality, with the same point thresholds.

How tiers work

Tiers are based on lifetime point accumulation, and a new tier shows up once the pending period for the points that got you there has passed. Your membership card changes and you receive an email or push notification. Benefits you've unlocked stay in your history when you move up. Kith doesn't publish a requalification window or a downgrade rule.

Tier Exclusives are periodic collections of custom apparel, accessories and footwear designed for each tier. Each product is made to order, and you buy it through the Kith App from the collection that appears on your Loyalty Timeline. The purchase window varies by release. Early Access works the same way: collections you can shop early appear in the Early Access section of your profile, with a push notification, and the window varies by collection.

Voyage's skip-the-line perk works by showing your in-app Voyage card to security. It admits the cardholder plus one guest, staff can refuse it, and it can't be honored at some regional locations, on a flagship's opening day or on release days of collections or exclusive footwear.

Treats Rewards sit alongside the tiers: members get a free Treat after buying five at Kith Treats, tracked on the Treats Rewards Card in the Loyalty tab of the app.

Do Kith Loyalty points expire?

No. Points don't expire. Because tiers are based on lifetime points, a member's status builds over time rather than resetting each year. Accounts can still be suspended or revoked for abuse, including suspected purchases by resellers, and members can cancel at any time by deleting their account in the app's Settings.

What Kith doesn't publish

  • What the Welcome Reward and Birthday Reward are.
  • The full list of Achievements and what each Moment is worth, which are revealed in the app.
  • Whether early access to a given collection depends on tier. The program page says early access is granted to select members, while the tier grid lists early access for every tier.
  • A requalification or downgrade rule for tiers.
  • How often Vault re-releases happen and what the Exclusive Icons are, beyond custom Kith icons for your home screen.
  • Whether the drawings listed on the Kith App page for footwear releases and Kith events depend on tier.

The fine print

  • Kith can change or end the program, its benefits and how you reach each tier at any time, without notice.
  • Program membership is limited to one account per individual, aged 18 or older, with a valid email address. The terms say the program is void where prohibited by law.
  • Missing points need a claim to customer service within 45 days of the purchase or activity, with your name, email and the date.
  • California residents: the terms note the program may count as a financial incentive and point to Kith's privacy policy.

What stands out about the Kith Loyalty Program

Points never turn into a discount. Kith's rewards are access and product, not money off. For a brand whose pieces sell out, a place in the early access line is worth more than a coupon, and the brand gives away no margin.

Status is bought, not handed out. Tier Exclusives are made to order and sold through the app, so reaching a tier earns you the right to buy something unavailable elsewhere. The benefit is also a sale.

Own-brand spend counts double. Kith sells other brands too, and 2 points per $1 on Kith against 1 on everything else steers members toward Kith's own label.

Stores feed the app. Moments need you to be within 100 yards of a store, pop-up or event, and in-store purchases only earn when you give the email or QR code, so the program pulls store visitors into the app.

What members should know going in:

  • Points can't be redeemed. If you want money off, there isn't any.
  • Two key rewards are unnamed. The Welcome and Birthday Rewards are on the grid but their contents aren't published.
  • Tiers differ less than they look. Paragon and Quartz have identical listed benefits, and the extra perks sit at Voyage, 10,000 points away.

Is the Kith Loyalty Program worth joining?

If you already buy from Kith, yes: it's free, past purchases count, and the app is where early access, drawings and exclusive products show up. Light buyers will mostly collect Paragon status and a free Treat. Expect little in return if you want discounts or cash-style rewards, because the program doesn't offer them. Heavy buyers who reach Voyage, around $5,000 of Kith purchases by our arithmetic, get the largest set of benefits.

What Shopify brands can learn from the Kith Loyalty Program

Kith's program works for a brand that sells scarcity. A few mechanics are worth copying:

  1. Use points as status, not currency. If your products sell on being hard to get, make points unlock tiers and access rather than discounts. You protect margin and the reward is access your customers can't get anywhere else.
  2. Let tiers unlock the right to buy. Releasing limited products only to a tier gives customers a reason to climb without discounting anything.
  3. Make tiers lifetime and points permanent. Without an annual reset, status feels earned rather than rented, and counting past orders at signup means customers start with progress.
  4. Pay more for your own label. A higher earn rate on your own products than on stocked brands steers spending where your margin is.
  5. Tie the app to the stores. Check-in points and an email or QR code at the till connect store visits to a member account.

If you're building a Shopify loyalty program around status, Mage covers much of this structure: VIP tiers with points earned as the entry method and lifetime progress, tier-specific rewards and perks such as early access and exclusive products, a Birthday Bonus, a points-per-dollar earning rule with different rates by product or collection, points expiry that is off by default, and a Mage tile on the Shopify POS home screen for in-store customers. On the Growth plan and above, custom actions triggered from your own backend or Shopify Flow can award points for actions your own systems record, such as an app install.
