Stamped and Yotpo both sell loyalty to Shopify stores, but they package it differently. Stamped sells Loyalty alongside Reviews and Repeat as separate products, priced by monthly order volume, and shows its Loyalty prices only inside the app. Yotpo sells Loyalty inside a wider retention and UGC suite, with a Pro plan from $199 a month and VIP tiers on Premium, which is priced by quote.
Key Takeaways
Stamped Loyalty has a free plan, then $299 a month up to 5,000 orders. Its plans screen says every plan includes points, referrals and a VIP program. Setup took me about 15 minutes, plus an upgrade I did not expect.
Yotpo Loyalty has a free plan and a Pro plan from $199 a month that includes 500 orders, then $0.20, $0.10 and $0.05 per order as volume rises. VIP tiers need Premium. Setup took me under ten minutes, but locating each setting took more navigation than it should.
At 5,000 orders a month, Stamped Loyalty costs $299 against about $599 for Yotpo Pro, which does not include VIP tiers. At 500 orders, Yotpo Pro is cheaper at $199. Prices checked 31 October 2026.
My view: Stamped if you want a cheaper option, Yotpo if you prefer an enterprise solution.
Mage Loyalty, which we make, is covered as a third option near the end.
Stamped.io
Stamped sells Loyalty, Repeat and Reviews as separate products. Loyalty covers points, referrals and a VIP program, and Stamped’s in-app plans screen says every plan includes them, along with custom referral codes. In my test, Loyalty and its plans were reachable only after installing the Stamped Reviews app first, and the reviews and loyalty tools share one admin.
How Stamped Loyalty works in practice
Hands-on with Stamped: Setup took about 15 minutes, but I had to upgrade before the program would run, even though Stamped’s plans screen says every plan includes points, referrals and a VIP program. Reviews and loyalty are built into one app, so loyalty settings sit inside a reviews-first interface that looks legacy next to the other apps I tried. The storefront widget is a classic loyalty widget, similar in layout to Smile.io’s but less polished. I placed test orders and the points appeared on the customer record.
A customer’s record in the Stamped admin, shown below, carries a Loyalty & Rewards panel with the points balance, manual points adjustments (add or subtract, with an internal reason customers do not see), the VIP tier with tier adjustments, and a referrals entry with edit and copy options.
Support
Hands-on with support: Stamped’s chat opens with StampedBot, an assistant that tries to answer first and forwards the conversation to the team if it cannot, with a stated response time of 3 to 6 business hours. The chat window does not link to documentation.
Plans and pricing
Stamped sells Loyalty, Repeat and Reviews as separate products, priced by monthly order volume. It does not publish Loyalty pricing on its website; the plans are shown inside the Stamped app (checked 31 October 2026). Loyalty has a free plan, then $299/month for up to 5,000 orders, $499 for up to 20,000, $699 for up to 50,000 and $899 for unlimited orders, and every plan includes points, referrals, a VIP program and custom referral codes. On its website, Reviews is $99/month at 1,000 orders and $199 at 5,000, and Repeat is $299/month at 5,000 orders. I found this confusing: Stamped’s pricing page shows Repeat and Reviews but no Loyalty prices, and I could only reach Loyalty and its plans after installing the Stamped Reviews app first.
Yotpo
Yotpo presents itself as a comprehensive e-commerce marketing platform offering an integrated suite of tools for reviews, loyalty, referrals, and customer engagement. For loyalty specifically, Yotpo delivers a powerful, highly customizable solution designed for scaling and enterprise-level brands seeking advanced segmentation and robust integrations. The platform emphasizes creating a holistic customer journey, leveraging user-generated content and loyalty mechanics to drive repeat purchases and brand advocacy. Yotpo's technology stack includes substantial investment in AI-driven features designed to optimize customer insights and campaign effectiveness.
Hands-on with Yotpo: I had Yotpo Loyalty configured in under ten minutes, but locating each setting took more navigation than it should. Program configuration is spread across Manage Program, On-Site Widgets, Communications, Integrations and Program Settings, and the pages follow different layouts: the Rewards Program page, the Referrals program page and the sticky bar editor each work differently, which made the admin slower to learn. The depth is there, though. Eight emailed reports, a Reports Builder in beta, referral fraud controls and a post-checkout referral block for the Thank You page are built for larger, multi-product programs. The Rewards Sticky Bar runs across the full width at the bottom of the page. A test order credited points in the app.
Sophisticated Earning Campaigns and Multi-Channel Rewards with Yotpo
Yotpo's loyalty platform offers over 20 different ways for customers to earn points, including purchases, social shares, birthdays, product reviews, and referrals. Brands can design diverse redemption options, discounts, free products, exclusive experiences, and even charitable donations, providing significant flexibility to customize rewards. The platform features advanced referral mechanics enabling customers to share unique links and earn rewards for bringing new customers. Yotpo allows granular control over point expiry, loyalty page branding, and campaign rules, ensuring loyalty programs can be intricately tailored to specific brand goals.
Referral rewards are part of this. Yotpo’s fraud controls, shown below, limit rewards to new customers and first-time purchases, compare referrer and friend email addresses, and include a blocked-domains list.
VIP Program Depth and Advanced Customer Segmentation in Yotpo
Yotpo excels in multi-level VIP program creation, allowing brands to craft intricate loyalty tiers defined by total spend, lifetime points, or purchase count. The platform's advanced segmentation capabilities enable highly personalized communications and offers based on a customer's loyalty status, purchase behavior, and custom attributes. Targeted milestone rewards recognize high-value customers while tailored campaigns drive engagement across specific segments. This depth of personalization ensures that loyalty efforts resonate with individual customer preferences and behaviors.
In the admin, the Analytics section lists eight reports that are sent to your email, with a Reports Builder in beta (shown below).
Yotpo's Extensive Integration Ecosystem and AI-Powered Features
Yotpo connects with over 170 e-commerce and marketing partners, including Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, Gorgias, Google Shopping, and Attentive. This broad compatibility allows brands to create deeply integrated marketing stacks where data flows seamlessly across platforms. According to publicly available information, Yotpo invests heavily in AI capabilities including "Smart Prompts" that guide customers to write more insightful reviews and AI-powered feedback summaries for actionable insights. Yotpo's Loyalty Pro plan starts at $199/month and includes 500 orders, with $0.20, $0.10 and then $0.05 per order above that, while Premium and Enterprise are priced by custom quote (checked 31 October 2026) and feature selection.
Yotpo’s integrations directory, shown below, recommends Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript, Omnisend and Gorgias, among others.
Hands-on with support: Yotpo runs its own live chat, and its widget surfaces documentation as links.

Book a demoStamped Loyalty is the cheaper option at higher volumes: $299 a month up to 5,000 orders, against about $599 on Yotpo Pro, which does not include VIP tiers. At 500 orders the order reverses, with Yotpo Pro at $199 against $299 for Stamped’s lowest paid plan. Yotpo is the stronger choice if you prefer an enterprise solution, with deeper reporting, a wide integration directory and VIP tiers on Premium. In my own use, I would recommend Stamped if you want a cheaper option and Yotpo if you prefer an enterprise solution.

Mage Loyalty empowers brands to build multi-level VIP tiers, where customers unlock exclusive perks and higher earning multipliers as they ascend through loyalty ranks. The platform segments customers by spend, points earned, and engagement history, enabling targeted communications for each tier. This layered structure transforms casual shoppers into dedicated brand advocates by creating clear progression paths and exclusive benefits.
Mage's Concierge Support and Unified Integration Ecosystem
Mage Loyalty combines white-glove onboarding, 99.9% uptime, and direct founder-led support with deep integrations into your marketing stack. The platform connects seamlessly with Klaviyo integration for post-purchase automation, Omnisend for email flows, Postscript for SMS marketing, Judge.me for review syndication, and Shopify POS for unified online and in-store loyalty. This integration depth means when a customer earns points, that event fires directly into your marketing automation platform so workflows trigger in real time. Mage handles the entire migration from your existing platform, ensuring zero data loss and seamless transition. Mage plans ($15 to $499 a month) include a set number of orders, and extra orders are charged at a fixed, published rate.
Mage is best for Shopify brands that want founder-led support and deep customization, not a self-serve SaaS tool you configure alone.
