Lola Loyalty is the rewards program of the blanket brand Lola Blankets. You join with a Lola account, earn points on purchases and on actions such as reviews and follows, and redeem them at checkout, where 20 points equal $1 (a point is worth $0.05). Your earn rate depends on your tier: 1 point per $1 at Bronze, 1.5 at Silver and 2 at Gold, set by how many orders you place in a calendar year. Points expire 12 months after they are earned.
Last checked on 24 October 2026 against Lola's loyalty page (US store) and its Rewards Terms & Conditions, effective 6 October 2026. Referral details also come from Lola's referral page.

How to join Lola Loyalty
Lola describes the program in three steps: sign up for an account, earn points on every purchase, and redeem your points at checkout for savings on your next purchase. The page has Join now and Sign in buttons.
The terms add the eligibility rules. You must be at least 18, with a Lola account and a US shipping address, one account per person, and the program isn't available to residents outside the US. Orders shipped outside the US don't earn points or count toward tier status.
Points can't be added to orders placed before you joined.
How you earn points
Lola's page headlines "Every order, review, and referral adds points to your account." These are the ways to earn:
| Action | Points |
|---|---|
| Place an order | 1, 1.5 or 2 points per $1 by tier |
| Sign up for an account | 50 |
| Sign up to email | 50 |
| Sign up to SMS | 75 |
| Celebrate a birthday | 200, 400 or 600 by tier |
| Leave a review | 50 |
| Leave a review with media | 75 |
| Follow on Instagram | 50 |
| Follow on TikTok | 50 |
| Like the page on Facebook | 50 |
| Complete a referral | 400 (see below) |
A few details from the terms:
- Points on orders are awarded when the order is fulfilled, not when it is placed, and rounded to the nearest whole point.
- Shipping, taxes, gift card purchases and any portion of an order paid with points or a promo card don't earn points. Sale and discounted items earn on the price you pay.
- Each of the one-time actions (account, email, text, review, review with media, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) is available once per account.
- Text sign-up means subscribing to recurring automated marketing texts. It isn't required to join or to buy.
- Lola says review points are given for submitting a review "whatever it says", not conditioned on a positive review or a particular rating.
The one-time actions add up. Account, email, text and the three social actions come to 325 points, which is $16.25 at Lola's stated value, and a review (50) plus a review with media (75) bring the list to 450 points, or $22.50. These totals are calculated from the amounts in the terms.
Referrals
The loyalty page lists "Complete a referral" with "Points for Referral Campaign" and no number. The terms fill in the amounts. When someone who hasn't bought from Lola before uses your link, subscribes to Lola's emails and places a qualifying order, they get $20 off. Once that order is fulfilled you get 400 points, which is $20 at Lola's point value.
There is no minimum order value and no product exclusions. Lola's referral page says there is no limit on how many friends you can refer, and that a reward may be voided if the friend's order is later returned or cancelled. Referral credit isn't paid where the referrer and the friend share an IP address, an account or a household payment method, or otherwise look like the same person.
What Lola points are worth
The terms are direct: "Twenty points equal $1.00 in value. Each point is worth $0.05, and you can redeem any whole number of points you have."
Combined with the earn rates, that gives each tier an effective return on eligible spend (calculated from the terms):
| Tier | Points per $1 | Effective return |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 1 | 5% |
| Silver | 1.5 | 7.5% |
| Gold | 2 | 10% |
How to redeem
Lola's steps are: log in to your account, go to the checkout page, and choose how many points you want to redeem. When you click redeem, the discount comes off your cart total.
- You choose the number of points. The terms allow any whole number, and Lola's FAQ says you need at least 5 points to start redeeming, which is $0.25.
- Points apply to merchandise only. They don't cover shipping or taxes.
- Lola's FAQ says that in most cases you can combine points with other promotions, with any exceptions noted at checkout. The terms say redemptions can be combined with discount codes and with sale prices.
- Points can only be applied before an order is completed. They can't be added afterwards.
- Points have no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, and are only redeemable on lolablankets.com.
Your points balance sits at the top of your loyalty page when you're logged in.
Lola Loyalty tiers and perks
Lola Loyalty has three tiers, set by the number of qualifying orders you have fulfilled in a calendar year:
| Tier | Orders | Points per $1 | Birthday reward | Other |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 1 to 2 | 1x | $10 (200 points) | |
| Silver | 3 to 5 | 1.5x | $20 (400 points) | |
| Gold | 6 or more | 2x | $30 (600 points) | Early access |
How tiers are won and kept
- You move up as soon as a qualifying order is fulfilled, and the new earn rate applies from your next order.
- Orders that are cancelled, returned or refunded don't count.
- Orders made up only of gift cards or promo cards count toward tier status, even though they don't earn points.
- Tier status earned in one calendar year carries through the following calendar year. To hold it for the year after that, you need to fulfil the applicable number of qualifying orders during the carry-through year. If you don't, your tier is adjusted to match the orders you actually fulfilled.
- Lola says Gold early access is a benefit of the tier, not a guarantee that any particular product will be available.
The birthday reward
The birthday reward is issued once per calendar year. Lola's page and terms give different cut-offs for entering your date of birth. The FAQ says the reward is added on your birthday, but if you enter your birthday within 1 day of the date, it is issued on your next birthday instead. The terms say your date of birth must be on file at least 30 days before your birthday, or the reward is issued the following calendar year.
What Lola doesn't publish
- The rate that applies to a first order. The tier table starts at 1 order, and the loyalty page doesn't say which tier a member with no orders is in.
- How long a birthday reward is valid for, or whether it expires like other points after 12 months.
- Whether points from sign-up actions arrive instantly or are pending.
- A cap on how many points can be redeemed on one order.
- Which product launches Gold early access covers.
- The calendar-year window for tiers. The loyalty page shows order counts only. The window is in the terms.
- The referral amounts on the loyalty page. They are in the terms.
The fine print
- Points expire 12 months after they are earned.
- If you return an order, the points it earned are deducted once the return is processed. Points you redeemed aren't refunded, and the terms say a refund may be reduced by the value of points already used.
- No vested right attaches to points or to tier status.
- Lola may change earn rates, redemption values, tier thresholds and benefits at any time. If a change reduces the value of points you have already earned, it gives at least 90 days' notice by email or on its site. If it ends the program, it gives at least 90 days' notice and 90 days to redeem.
- If your membership is closed, or you leave the program by emailing Lola, unredeemed points are forfeited.
- Lola may void points and close an account for abuse, such as multiple accounts, self-referral, automated tools or reselling points.
- Unused credits from Lola's earlier loyalty program convert to points when you opt in. The terms give the example of $10 in store credit becoming 200 points.
What stands out about Lola Loyalty
Tiers count orders, not dollars. Many tiered programs ask members to spend a set amount. For a product bought a few times, such as blankets, pillows and gifts, a count of orders is easy for a member to track and doesn't punish a customer who prefers one large purchase.
The rate is simple and the value is stated. Lola prints the multipliers (1x, 1.5x, 2x) on the page and puts the value of a point in its terms, so a member can work out the return of each tier before buying.
The birthday reward scales with the tier. A Bronze member gets $10 and a Gold member gets $30. It makes the tier ladder visible once a year without a separate perk.
What members should know going in:
- Points expire after 12 months. A member who buys once a year is the one most likely to lose points.
- Tier status needs repeat orders. To keep Gold in the carry-through year, you need to repeat the six orders.
Is Lola Loyalty worth joining?
Yes, if you buy from Lola at all. No fee is mentioned, and Bronze is already 5% back on eligible spend at the stated value. The one-time actions are worth $16.25 or more if you are happy to subscribe to emails and texts and to follow the brand on social.
If you buy once or twice a year, the 12-month expiry matters, especially across a long gap between orders. If you buy several times a year, the picture improves: Silver and Gold pay 7.5% and 10%, with a birthday reward of $20 or $30.
If you mostly buy during sales, points are earned on the discounted price, so they shrink in line with it.
What Shopify brands can learn from Lola's program
A few of Lola's choices work for any Shopify store:
- Make the tier ladder easy to read. Three order-count tiers with the multiplier shown on each tell a customer what the next rung pays. In Mage, VIP tiers can use number of orders as the entry method, with progress that resets by calendar year, rolling year or never, and tier retention to protect status.
- Scale the rewards by tier. A 1x, 1.5x, 2x ladder pays loyal customers more without a new reward catalogue, and Lola's $10, $20 and $30 birthday reward turns one rule into a tier perk. Mage supports points multipliers per tier (examples are 1.5x and 2x), tier-scaled birthday rewards and early access as a tier perk, and members are tagged in Shopify by tier ("Mage VIP Tier: Gold") for segments and launch lists.
- State the value of a point. Lola's 20 points for $1 is a round number a shopper can do in their head. In Mage you set the points cost of a fixed amount reward, so you can choose a round conversion, and rewards apply at Shopify checkout with no code to copy.
- Pay for actions beyond purchases. Reviews, photo and video reviews, social follows and an SMS opt-in all earn points at Lola. Mage has earning rules for each of these, with more points for photo or video reviews.
- Reward a referral with points and give the friend a discount. Lola gives the friend $20 off and the referrer 400 points. In Mage, the advocate and the friend can receive different rewards, and rewards can be issued after a delay, for example after the return window.
If you're building a Shopify loyalty program with this structure, Mage covers points earning rules, order-count VIP tiers with multipliers and birthday rewards, points expiry, and double-sided referrals with fraud protection.
