My Pandora is Pandora's free rewards program in the US, and its three tiers decide what your points can do. Members earn 1 point for every $1 spent online at us.pandora.net and in participating Pandora stores. Pink members, the starting tier, only collect points. Silver members (a first purchase plus a birthday on file) can pay with points at 40 points per $1, and Gold members (at least $400 spent in 12 months) also get a yearly reward of 20% off and double points on one purchase. A 10% welcome gift and birthday discounts of 10% or 15% sit alongside the points. My Pandora accounts, points and benefits are valid only in the United States.

How to join My Pandora
Joining is free and needs no purchase. You create an account at us.pandora.net with a valid email address, a name and a password (or sign in with Facebook or Google), and agree to the My Pandora terms. Members must be at least 18. Each person can hold one account, and Pandora can refuse, merge or close extra accounts.
Signing up also opts you in to postal and email marketing, which you can unsubscribe from at any time. Purchases made before you enrol don't earn points, so join before you buy. To earn points in a store, show the QR code from a My Pandora email or your online account, or give your email address at the till. Online, sign in before you check out.
How you earn points
| Action | Points | Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase online or in a participating store | 1 point per $1 | Counted after discounts, rounded to the nearest dollar |
| Gold Reward purchase | Double points | Once a year, on one purchase |
Points are earned on all products, including discounted ones, but only on the value after the discount. They aren't earned on shipping, tax or gift cards, or on the part of an order paid with points or covered by a voucher. Points from a purchase stay pending for 30 days and then become available. The terms also mention benefits for contests, voting on products, reviews and surveys, with the details disclosed per offer, and no point values are published for them. A return or cancellation removes the points, and if they've already been spent your balance can go negative. If you forget to sign in, you can claim the points within 30 days by contacting support with a receipt.
What My Pandora points are worth
Pandora publishes the exchange rate: 40 points equal $1, and 200 points save $5. At 1 point per $1 spent, every dollar earns 2.5 cents of future spending, so the baseline return is 2.5% (our arithmetic), and only once you reach Silver. A $200 purchase earns 200 points, worth $5.
The Gold Reward doubles that for one purchase a year. Pandora takes the 20% off first and then doubles the points on what remains, so on a $200 purchase (our arithmetic) you pay $160 and earn 320 points instead of 160, which is worth $8 later instead of $4.
Pandora doesn't publish the points price of any product, because points are applied as money off an order rather than a product price.
How to redeem
Pay with points is available to Silver and Gold members, online and in participating stores. Pink members can't use points, and their points show as pending until they level up.
- Online: sign in before checkout to reveal the pay with points option. There is no minimum, but your whole available balance is applied, and any points that aren't needed stay in your account.
- In store: show the QR code or give your email address, and choose how many points to spend, in increments of 2.
- What points cover: products, shipping and tax, applied to shipping first, then product, then product tax. Points can't buy gift cards and can't be used with Apple Pay.
- Stacking: the terms say points can be used together with discounts and promotions, while the FAQ says a welcome gift or birthday gift can't be used in the same transaction as points. Vouchers themselves can't be combined with each other or with other offers.
The oldest points are spent first, and points can't be exchanged for cash or transferred.
Tiers and perks
Each tier includes everything in the one below it.
| Tier | How to reach it | Perks |
|---|---|---|
| Pink | Join | 10% welcome gift, earn points, member offers, early access to sales |
| Silver | Complete your profile with a birthdate and make one purchase that earns points | Pay with points, 10% birthday gift, early access to new arrivals, exclusive sneak peeks, exclusive My Pandora charms, 50% off a Jewelry Care Kit |
| Gold | Spend $400 or more within 12 months | 15% birthday gift, a yearly Gold Reward of 20% off and double points, Exclusive Jewelry Editions, a free Jewelry Care Kit |
Every tier also gets priority access to offers, special events, an extra warranty, saved jewelry sizes, order history with e-receipts and a wishlist. The Jewelry Care Kit is called a Jewelry Cleaner Set in the terms.
How the tiers work
- Pink to Silver: both conditions are needed, a birthdate in your profile and at least one purchase made after you sign up that earns points. Purchases before sign-up don't count.
- Silver to Gold: $400 or more within a 12-month period. Returns are deducted, and purchases or parts of purchases paid with points don't count. You can skip Silver if you meet both sets of conditions.
- Keeping Gold: you drop to Silver if you spend under $400 in the 12 months from the date you first reached Gold, or if returns pull that total below $400.
- Pandora Credit Card: a Pink member who holds a Pandora Credit Card, completes the profile and uses the same email on both accounts is upgraded straight to Gold for the first 12 months. After that the $400 test applies.
- Gold Reward: it lands in your account 90 days after you become Gold and is reissued every 12 months while you stay Gold. It must be used within 30 days, in a single transaction.
- Care kit: Silver members get 50% off up to three times a year. Gold members get one free kit, once in the lifetime of the membership, and then 50% off up to three times a year. Online orders pay shipping on the kit.
Welcome gift and birthday gift
The welcome gift is 10% off your next Pandora jewelry purchase. It arrives three days after you join, is valid for 30 days and is single use, online or in store, with no minimum purchase. If you return the whole order it was used on, it is reissued with a new 30 days. The birthday gift is 10% off for Silver and 15% off for Gold, also with no minimum, and it needs a birthdate in your profile. It appears on your first birthday after you join and every year after, valid for 30 days.
Do My Pandora points expire?
Yes. Points expire at the end of the 12th month from the purchase date. For example, points from a purchase in May expire at the end of May the following year. Points credited back after a return get a new 12-month expiry. Gold is tested on spend rather than points, so expiring points don't lower your tier.
The fine print
- Pandora can change or end My Pandora, its benefits and its terms at any time, even though changes may affect the value of points already earned. Members get three months' notice by email before the program ends and one month's notice before a reward benefit is discontinued.
- Welcome, birthday and Gold rewards exclude shipping, tax, gift cards, 14K gold, last chance and sale items, Pandora Lab-grown Diamonds and Pandora Essence. Double points aren't valid on gift cards, purchases made with points, tax or shipping.
- Vouchers can't be combined with other discounts or vouchers.
- Pandora can cancel points or terminate a membership for excessive or commercial activity.
- An account with no points earning or redeeming for 5 years can be terminated. Deleting your account invalidates all points immediately.
- Disputes go to individual arbitration after a 60 day informal process, and claims must be brought individually rather than as a class.
What stands out about My Pandora
The first purchase is a gate. Pink members earn points but can't spend them until a first purchase and a birthdate move them to Silver. That turns a sign-up into a customer and collects the birthday that the birthday gift needs.
Gold is a spend test, not a points test. Purchases paid with points don't count towards the $400, so spending points doesn't move a member towards Gold, and a return can pull them back out.
The points rate is low, so discounts do the work. At 2.5% back, the points are a modest reward. The welcome gift, birthday gift and Gold Reward are percentage discounts of 10% to 20%, so most of the visible value comes from the vouchers.
Gold includes a product, not just a discount. The free Jewelry Care Kit and the Exclusive Jewelry Editions are product perks that make the top tier feel different from Silver.
What members should know going in:
- Points can sit idle. Pink members can't spend points, and points from any member are pending for 30 days.
- Vouchers exclude parts of the range. Last chance and sale items, 14K gold, lab-grown diamonds and Pandora Essence are out.
- Gold has to be kept. The 12-month window runs from the date you first reach Gold, so a quiet year drops you to Silver.
- Some perks have no detail. The extra warranty, special events, sneak peeks and exclusive My Pandora charms aren't described in the terms.
Is My Pandora worth joining?
Yes for anyone who buys Pandora in the US, because it's free, the 10% welcome gift needs no minimum, and joining before a purchase is the only way to earn points on it. If you buy once or twice a year, the value is mostly the welcome and birthday discounts. If you spend $400 or more a year, Gold adds a yearly 20% off with double points, a 15% birthday gift and a free care kit, and Silver and Gold are the only tiers that can spend points, so the 2.5% return becomes usable. If you mostly buy sale items, 14K gold or lab-grown diamonds, the vouchers won't apply to you.
What Shopify brands can learn from My Pandora
Pandora's program suits a brand that sells collectible, giftable pieces at a moderate price. Several mechanics transfer to a Shopify brand:
- Make the first purchase the unlock. Let anyone join free, but hold the spendable reward until a first order and a birthday. You turn sign-ups into customers and collect the data that powers the birthday offer. In Mage, VIP tiers can be entered by number of orders, and rewards can be tier-specific.
- Test the top tier on spend in a rolling year. A threshold such as $400 in 12 months is clear to a customer and doesn't depend on points balances. Mage tier progress can run on a rolling year, with tier retention to protect status for 12 months.
- Give the top tier a yearly moment. A single 20% off and double points reward each year gives Gold members something to look forward to without a permanent discount. Mage has tier-specific rewards and multiplier bonus campaigns, which are the building blocks for a yearly perk like this.
- Scale the birthday gift by tier. Pandora steps it from 10% to 15%, which gives each tier a visible difference. Mage supports tier-scaled birthday rewards.
- Add a small product as a reward. A cleaner kit at half price for one tier and free for the next is cheap to give and relevant to the last purchase. Mage rewards can be a free product.
- Recognise customers at the till. Pandora asks for a QR code or an email address in store so purchases land on the right account. The Mage tile on Shopify POS shows a customer's points, rewards and tier-specific rewards.
If you're building a Shopify VIP tiers program like this, Mage covers the structure above: tiers entered on spend or orders, rolling-year progress and tier retention, tier-specific rewards, tier-scaled birthday rewards, free-product rewards and POS support.
