Oh Polly Rewards is Oh Polly's free points and tiers program, open to anyone with an Oh Polly account. Members earn 5 points for every $1 spent, and 100 points are worth $1, so the base return is 5% (our arithmetic). Four tiers, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, start at 0, 2,000, 5,000 and 10,000 points, which are $0, $400, $1,000 and $2,000 of spending. The tier changes the perks rather than the earn rate, and the clearest one is a birthday discount that rises from 10% to 25%. Points expire 12 months after your last purchase.
Last checked on 28 October 2026 against the Oh Polly Rewards page on the US store, in US dollars, and the Oh Polly Rewards section of Oh Polly's Terms & Conditions (no date shown). Earlier thresholds come from an archived copy of the rewards page dated 2 February 2026.

How to join Oh Polly Rewards
You join by creating an Oh Polly account, which is free and fast. There is no separate sign-up step: the program runs inside the account, and your balance and tier progress sit in My Rewards. A new account is placed in Bronze, and it receives points for the previous 3 days of orders, so a purchase made just before you sign up still counts.
Oh Polly runs separate stores for the US, UK, Europe, Australia and the UAE, each with a rewards page address of its own. This guide covers the US store and notes where the UK program differs.
How you earn points
| Action | Points | Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Spend at Oh Polly | 5 per $1 | The same at every tier |
| Account creation | Points for the previous 3 days of orders | Added when you create the account |
| Refer a friend | 1,000 points ($10) | The friend must be a new customer and place an order with your code; available to redeem 30 days after their order, on a minimum spend of $100 |
| Promotions | Varies | Oh Polly runs limited-time referral promotions with higher rewards |
An order paid entirely with a gift card earns nothing, because there is no payable balance, and an order part paid with a gift card earns on the part paid by another method. Oh Polly doesn't publish how shipping, taxes or discount codes affect the earn calculation.
Earned points are pending while the order is in its returns period, and they can be spent 30 days after purchase. Oh Polly doesn't publish points for reviews, social follows or text sign-ups.
What Oh Polly points are worth
100 points are worth $1. At 5 points per $1, every dollar spent returns 5 cents (our arithmetic). The return is the same at every tier, so a Platinum member earns no more per dollar than a Bronze member.
| Milestone | Spending | Points | Value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Smallest redemption | $200 | 1,000 | $10 |
| Silver | $400 | 2,000 | $20 |
| Gold | $1,000 | 5,000 | $50 |
| Platinum, and the largest redemption in one order | $2,000 | 10,000 | $100 |
The first reward therefore takes about $200 of spending, because the minimum redemption is 1,000 points ($10). The tier thresholds are the same ratio: each is the points figure divided by 5.
How to redeem points
At checkout, an option appears to apply points to the order. Points are applied as a one-time use discount code, split proportionally across every item in the order, and redemptions run from a minimum of 1,000 points ($10) to a maximum of 10,000 points ($100) per order.
Points can be used on sale items, but they can't be combined with other discount codes. Oh Polly's terms say points aren't eligible on pre-orders, shipping costs, gift wrap, order protection or digital products. If you apply points and leave without checking out, remove them at checkout so they return to the Unclaimed Rewards section of your account, which can take an hour. If you return an item you paid for with points, the terms say the points redeemed on that item are reimbursed.

The birthday discount is emailed 14 days before your birthday, once you have entered your date of birth in your account. Bronze members receive a discount with a minimum spend, and Silver, Gold and Platinum members receive an outright percentage. Oh Polly doesn't publish how long a birthday code lasts or whether it has a cap.
Once you enter a tier you stay in it for 12 months, and reaching the next tier restarts the 12 months. Oh Polly doesn't publish what happens when the 12 months end without reaching the next tier, or whether spending points lowers your progress toward one.
Gold and Platinum events and giveaways come from the terms: invitations to community events are limited and not guaranteed, and Gold and Platinum members are entered automatically into monthly giveaways, with two winners chosen at random and notified by email. The Bronze card's "Enjoy 10% off your next order" has no published conditions.
The fine print
- Points expire. Points expire 12 months after your last purchase, with an email 2 weeks before, so any new purchase keeps a balance alive.
- Thresholds have risen. An archived copy of the rewards page dated 2 February 2026 showed Silver at 1,500 points ($300), Gold at 3,000 ($600) and Platinum at 6,500 ($1,300), and a redemption range of $5 to $50. The page now shows 2,000 ($400), 5,000 ($1,000) and 10,000 ($2,000), and $10 to $100. Third-party guides with the earlier numbers are out of date.
- Perks have changed too. The February copy listed priority access to sales from Silver, and 10% off curated monthly edits at Platinum. The current page lists neither.
- Oh Polly can change the program. The terms say Oh Polly has the right to change or withdraw promotional offers, points structure and tier benefits at any time.
- Referrals are for new customers. The referral code works only for people who haven't shopped with Oh Polly before. The friend's $10 voucher can be used straight away on a minimum spend of $100, and the referrer's 1,000 points wait 30 days from the friend's order.
- The terms are written for the UK business. Oh Polly Ltd is registered in Scotland, and the terms say they are governed by English law, including on the US store.
The UK program
The UK store runs the same four tiers on the same rates, with lower numbers: 5 points per £1 and 100 points to £1. Silver starts at 1,000 points (£200 of spending), Gold at 2,500 (£500) and Platinum at 5,000 (£1,000). Redemption runs from £5 to £50 per order, and the referral gives the friend a £5 voucher on a minimum spend of £50. The UK page also lists unlimited UK next-day delivery at Gold and Platinum, and a points earning line for Oh Polly Pre-loved at every tier. The expiry rule is the same, 12 months after your last purchase. Oh Polly doesn't say whether points carry between stores.
What stands out about Oh Polly Rewards
The earn rate doesn't change, and the tier is about the birthday. Most tiered programs raise the rate as status rises. Oh Polly pays 5 points per $1 to everyone, and the tier changes a birthday discount from 10% to 25%, the priority support line and, at Gold and Platinum, community invitations and giveaways. For a brand with a Birthday edit among its occasion collections, a birthday discount that grows with spend is a natural reward, and it gives a one-off buyer a reason to come back once a year.
Points are held for 30 days. Earned points are pending during the returns period and can be spent 30 days after purchase. That delays the first reward, and it means points can't be spent on orders that may still be returned (our reading of the hold).
Expiry rewards any purchase. Because the clock runs from your last purchase rather than from each earning date, one order a year keeps a whole balance alive. A shopper who buys twice a year never has points expire.
The top tiers sit a long way out. Platinum takes $2,000 of spending, which earns the same 10,000 points that one maximum redemption spends. Oh Polly doesn't publish how many members sit in each tier, and beyond the birthday discount the perks at Gold and Platinum are modest.
What members should know going in:
- The minimum redemption is $10. A first reward takes about $200 of spending, so members who buy once or twice a year may never spend their points before the clock runs out.
- Points and codes don't combine. A discount code can't be used on the same order as points, so a member has to choose.
- Some perks sit in the terms only. Gold and Platinum events and giveaways are in the terms.
- Perks have been trimmed since February. Priority access to sales and 10% off curated monthly edits are no longer listed on the page.
Is Oh Polly Rewards worth joining?
Yes, if you buy from Oh Polly at all, because it costs nothing and the account is how the 5% points return is earned. An occasional shopper, buying once or twice a year, gets the birthday discount (10% off with a $100 spend at Bronze) and should buy again before the 12 months run out. A regular shopper, spending a few hundred dollars a year, earns about 5% back and can redeem $10 once spending reaches about $200, and the birthday discount rises at Silver, from $400. A heavy shopper reaches Gold at $1,000 and Platinum at $2,000 for 20% and 25% birthday discounts, priority care and the giveaways, though the earn rate stays at 5%. If you shop mainly with discount codes, note that points can't be stacked with them.
What Shopify brands can learn from Oh Polly's program
Oh Polly Rewards keeps the mechanics few and the numbers round, and four ideas carry over to a Shopify store:
- Keep the earn rate flat and make the tier about the perk. A single rate of 5 points per $1 is easy to explain, and the tiers spend their budget on a birthday discount that grows. In Mage, VIP tiers can carry tier-specific rewards and tier-scaled birthday rewards, and tier multipliers are optional rather than required.
- Make the points and the dollars line up. Silver at 2,000 points and $400 is the same fact twice, so a member never has to convert. In Mage, VIP tiers can be entered by points earned, amount spent or number of orders, so a brand can show whichever is easiest to read.
- Time referral rewards to the return window. Oh Polly pays the referrer 30 days after the friend's order, on a minimum spend. In Mage, a referral reward can be issued as soon as the order goes through or after a delay such as the return window, and a minimum spend can be required before a referral counts.
- Let any purchase keep points alive. Expiry from the last purchase turns the deadline into a reason to reorder. In Mage, points expiry can run from the date points are earned or reset on each purchase, and an email reminder can warn customers before points drop off.
If you're building a points and tiers loyalty program on Shopify, Mage covers the structure above: points with fixed-amount rewards, VIP tiers on points, amount spent or number of orders, tier-specific and birthday rewards, referral rewards with minimum spend and delayed issue, and configurable points expiry.

Frequently asked questions
Do Oh Polly Rewards points expire? Yes. Points expire 12 months after your last purchase, and Oh Polly emails you 2 weeks before. Buy at least once a year to keep a balance.
How much are Oh Polly points worth? 100 points are worth $1, and you earn 5 points per $1 spent, so the return is 5% (our arithmetic). The smallest redemption is 1,000 points ($10) and the largest is 10,000 points ($100) per order.
How do I get my Oh Polly birthday discount? Enter your date of birth in your account. Oh Polly emails the discount 14 days before your birthday. It is 15%, 20% or 25% off at Silver, Gold and Platinum, and 10% off a $100 spend at Bronze.
Can I use Oh Polly points on sale items? Yes. Points can be used during sales, but they can't be combined with other discount codes.
How many points do I need for Silver, Gold and Platinum at Oh Polly? On the US store, Silver is 2,000 points ($400 of spending), Gold is 5,000 ($1,000) and Platinum is 10,000 ($2,000). Once you enter a tier you stay in it for 12 months, and reaching the next tier restarts the 12 months.
Is the Oh Polly Rewards program different in the UK? Yes. The UK store has lower thresholds (Silver at £200, Gold at £500, Platinum at £1,000), redemption from £5 to £50, and a £5 friend voucher, and lists unlimited UK next-day delivery at Gold and Platinum.
