Victoria's Secret and PINK Rewards is the free points program shared by Victoria's Secret and PINK, for shoppers in the US. Members earn 5 points for every $1 spent in stores, online and in the app, and every 2,000 points turns into a $10 reward that expires after 90 days. Three tiers, Member, Silver and Gold, unlock at $300 and $750 of spending in a calendar year, and a Victoria's Secret credit card layer on top raises the earn rate to 10 or 15 points per $1. Points expire 12 months after they are earned.

Last checked on 28 October 2026 against Victoria's Secret's Rewards page, which carries the program FAQ, and the Rewards Program Terms and Conditions (last updated 1/06/2026), for the US in US dollars.

This guide is written by Graeme, co-founder of Mage, a loyalty and customer accounts platform for Shopify.

How to join Victoria's Secret and PINK Rewards

Joining is free. You need a victoriassecret.com account, and you finish joining by completing your Rewards member profile within it. You can start online, at checkout in any participating Victoria's Secret or PINK store, or at special sign-up events. Membership is open to US residents aged 18 and over, with one account per email address. Customers outside the US and purchases in stores outside the US are not covered.

Your Member ID sits in the Account tab once you are signed in, and in the app. In a store, an associate scans it at checkout. Online, you sign in before you buy. Purchases made without identifying yourself earn nothing, and so do purchases made before you join.

A new account starts at the Member tier. Applying for the Victoria's Secret credit card is a separate process and is not required: a customer who is approved starts at Silver, and one who is declined is enrolled at Member.

How you earn points

Purchases at Victoria's Secret and PINK5 per $1Same at every tier, any payment method; rounded up to the next whole point on each item
Add your birthday100, onceNo purchase needed; once saved, the birthday can't be changed
Confirm or add a shipping address100, onceNo purchase needed
Photo product review100 eachPhotos required; the first four reviews each calendar year earn
2x Points Day10 per $1Silver and Gold, up to two a year
Purchases made with the credit card10 per $1 at Silver, 15 at GoldCardmembers only, see the credit card section

Points are earned on goods bought for personal, family or household use, after product discounts. Taxes, shipping fees, gift cards, services such as gift wrapping and the Home Try-On styling fee, returns and purchases through third-party affiliates earn nothing, and stores in airports and on cruise ships are excluded. Points are rounded up per item: Victoria's Secret's own example is a $37.65 item at 5 points per $1, which earns 189 points (188.25 rounded up).

There is no cap on points earned in a year. Points show up about 72 hours after a store purchase, or after an online order has shipped, and a missing-points dispute has to be raised within 90 days of the purchase.

What Victoria's Secret and PINK Rewards points are worth

A point is worth $0.005. Every 2,000 points earn a $10 reward, so a member at 5 points per $1 gets back 2.5% (our arithmetic). The rate rises only on the credit card and on 2x Points Days:

Way of earningPoints per $1Return per $1Spend for each $10 reward
Any member, any tier52.5%$400
Member-rate earner on a 2x Points Day (Silver and Gold)105.0%$200
Silver cardmember, card purchase105.0%$200
Gold cardmember, card purchase157.5%$133.33
Silver cardmember, bras3015.0%$66.67
Gold cardmember, bras4522.5%$44.44

On a 2x Points Day, a Silver cardmember earns 20 points per $1 and a Gold cardmember 30. The triple points on bras can't be combined with a 2x Points Day.

The 100 point profile actions are worth $0.50 each (our arithmetic), so a birthday, an address and four photo reviews add up to 600 points, or $3.

How to redeem

Rewards are issued automatically: a member receives a $10 reward for every 2,000 points earned, and the points are removed from the balance when the reward is issued. There is no choosing a reward from a catalogue. The reward is emailed to the address on the account, and it shows in the app or the Rewards profile, within six weeks of being earned.

Online, rewards appear at checkout when you are signed in, and a signed-out shopper enters the single-use code from the email or app. In a store, you show the single-use barcode from the app or email at checkout.

A reward is good for 90 days from the day it is issued. The rules for using it are:

  • The purchase has to be worth at least as much as the reward, so a $10 reward needs a $10 purchase.
  • A reward goes on one purchase only, and Victoria's Secret can limit how many rewards go on one transaction.
  • Rewards can't buy gift cards or e-gift cards, can't be exchanged for cash and aren't refunded when an item is returned.

The program year runs from 1 January to 31 December. Accounts are checked daily, and a new tier shows on the account within about 72 hours of crossing the threshold. Qualifying spend leaves out tax, shipping, discounts, returns, gift cards, services and purchases outside Victoria's Secret. Once a member reaches Silver or Gold, the tier lasts through the rest of that year and the whole of the next one, and the threshold has to be met again to keep it afterwards.

The birthday gift needs the birthday saved in the profile and a purchase in the previous 12 months. An account opened within two months of the birthday receives the gift the following year. The gift is a reward, so a minimum purchase applies. Free shipping covers standard shipping within the US on victoriassecret.com orders only. Gold members choose one Pick Your Perk a year from the options offered that year, and the choice can't be changed afterwards.

The Victoria's Secret credit card layer

The free program stands on its own, and the credit card adds a second layer on top. Applying for the card enrolls the customer in the program at Silver, with no spending needed. The card benefits apply at Victoria's Secret and PINK, online and in stores, and they depend on the card account staying in good standing: open to new charges, not more than 60 days past due and not flagged as lost, stolen or fraudulent.

The cardmember benefits on the Rewards page as of 28 October 2026.

Cardmembers earn the higher rate only on purchases made with the card. In a store, using the card identifies the member, so there is no Member ID to show. A purchase on another cardmember's card by an authorized user earns the points for the cardmember. Gold takes $750 in a program year, and Victoria's Secret's FAQ specifies that this spend is on qualifying purchases made with the card. The anniversary gift arrives after a year as a cardmember, with a purchase in the previous 12 months.

The Victoria's Secret Mastercard works outside Victoria's Secret and PINK as well and earns 2 points per $1 on those purchases and 4 per $1 on dining, travel and streaming services. The plain store card works only at Victoria's Secret and PINK.

The fine print

  • Points expire. Points expire 12 months after the day they are earned, and the FAQ adds that they also expire if the account has no purchases for 12 consecutive months. Once points expire they no longer count toward a reward.
  • Rewards expire faster. A reward lasts 90 days from issue, so there are two clocks: 12 months for points, then 90 days for the reward they become.
  • Returns reduce points. A return removes the points it earned, and the balance can go negative. Points then have to be earned back to zero before the next reward.
  • Points have no cash value. Points are not the member's property, can't be sold or transferred, and can't be redeemed for cash.
  • Victoria's Secret can change the program. The terms allow changes to benefits, rewards and points at any time, with or without notice, even where that affects points already earned.
  • Cancelling forfeits points. A member who cancels loses unused points but keeps any rewards already issued.

What stands out about Victoria's Secret and PINK Rewards

Tiers change the perks, not the earn rate. Every general member earns 5 points per $1 at Member, Silver and Gold. What the tiers add is a lower free shipping threshold at Gold, two 2x Points Days from Silver and a Pick Your Perk at Gold. The credit card is where earning speeds up: a Gold cardmember earns three times the base rate, and nine times on bras.

Rewards are issued, not chosen. A member never decides to spend points. Every 2,000 points become a $10 reward automatically, which then has 90 days to be used on a purchase at least as large. Because the reward is fixed at one size, a member earning slowly at 5 points per $1 spends $400 to produce a single $10 reward.

Small actions earn small points. A birthday, an address and photo reviews are worth 100 points each, or $0.50. They are a reason to complete the profile more than a route to rewards, and photo reviews are the only way a review earns.

The program replaced an older one. Victoria's Secret & Co. announced the pilot on 24 February 2023 under the name VS & PINK Collective, as the first rewards program that lets customers earn across both brands whatever the payment method. The release said the earlier PINK Nation program would sunset the same month.

What members should know going in:

  • Free shipping only on victoriassecret.com. The $50 and $25 thresholds apply to online orders, not store purchases.
  • A discount reduces what you earn. Points and tier spend are counted after product discounts.
  • Rewards need a matching purchase. A $10 reward can't be used on a smaller purchase.
  • The card changes the math. At 5 points per $1 the return is 2.5%, and it is 5% to 22.5% for cardmembers, which depends on a credit decision and an account in good standing.

Is Victoria's Secret and PINK Rewards worth joining?

If you buy from Victoria's Secret or PINK at all, joining costs nothing, and the first step is to join before you buy, since a purchase made before joining earns nothing. An occasional shopper gets a $10 birthday reward and free shipping on online orders over $50, and should expect to spend about $400 to earn one $10 reward, so the birthday reward is likely the most valuable part. A regular shopper is looking at 2.5% back, plus two 2x Points Days a year once spending reaches $300, which moves Silver members to 5% on those days. A Gold member at $750 gets the $25 shipping threshold and a Pick Your Perk. A shopper who buys bras often is the one for whom the credit card changes the numbers, at 15% to 22.5% back on bras, though the card is a credit product with its own agreement. A store-only shopper can earn too, as long as they give their Member ID at checkout.

What Shopify brands can learn from Victoria's Secret and PINK Rewards

The program joins stores, an app and a website under one member, and several of its mechanics carry over to a Shopify brand:

  1. Put the exchange rate in one line. "5 points per $1, a $10 reward for every 2,000 points" tells a shopper they get 2.5% back. Choose a rate people can calculate and show it on the first screen. Mage lets you set earning rates and fixed-amount rewards.
  2. Keep tiers on a calendar year and differentiate with perks. Silver and Gold earn the same 5 points per $1 as Member, and the difference is shipping, bonus days and an annual perk. In Mage, VIP tier progress can run on a calendar year, a rolling year or lifetime, status can be protected for twelve months after it is earned, and tier perks include points multipliers, upgraded shipping, early access and tier-scaled birthday rewards.
  3. Pay for profile data and photos. A birthday, an address and a photo review each earn a small number of points. In Mage, a birthday bonus pays once a year when the customer saves their birthday, and a review earns points, with more for one that has a photo or video attached.
  4. Make members identifiable in store. Points need a Member ID at the till. In Mage, the Shopify POS tile lets staff add the customer to the cart, see their points balance and rewards, and redeem for the current transaction.
  5. Give points a clock. Points expire after 12 months here. In Mage, points expiry can run a set number of days after points are earned or reset on each purchase, and it is off by default.

If you're building a points and tiers loyalty program on Shopify, Mage covers the structure above: points with fixed-amount rewards, VIP tiers on amount spent, tier multipliers and shipping perks, birthday and review earning rules, Shopify POS and configurable points expiry.

Frequently asked questions

Do Victoria's Secret points expire? Yes. Points expire 12 months after they are earned, and a reward issued from them expires 90 days after it is issued.

How many points do I need for a $10 reward? 2,000 points. At 5 points per $1, that is $400 of spending, or $200 on a 2x Points Day.

Do I need the credit card to join Victoria's Secret and PINK Rewards? No. Joining is free and the credit card is a separate application. Approved applicants start at Silver, and declined applicants join at Member.

Do I earn points in stores as well as online? Yes. Points are earned at Victoria's Secret and PINK stores in the US, on victoriassecret.com and in the app. In a store you give your Member ID, and online you sign in before you buy.

Do points count from purchases I made before joining? No. Purchases made before joining, or without signing in or giving your Member ID, don't earn points or count toward a tier.

How long does Silver or Gold last? The tier lasts the rest of the program year in which it is reached and the whole of the next year. To keep it after that, you have to meet the threshold again.
